The Small Theatre Alliance of Boston fosters the growth of Small Theatre companies and artists through providing professional development, initiating collaborative conversation, sharing resources, and cultivating and engaging audiences.
The Alliance is member-driven, with an executive board serving as a guiding body, but with the majority of the decisions being made by member-run committees.

The guiding body of the Small Theatre Alliance of Boston is an Executive Board comprised of four or more elected officers - President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Clerk, and one or two Members-At-Large. All officers are elected to a two-year term of service. Two or three posts are re-elected each year, but never all at once to maintain organizational continuity.
